 Domodossola - Antigorio Valley
In this area, at the valley-bottom, a lot of little quarriers are opened
in grey-gneiss, used in building industries.
In Antigorio valley the rock begins darker, with a lot of chlorite and
is called "Antigorio-gneiss".
A lot of alpine minerals are well represented.
The most interesting to find are smoky quarz, pink and green fluorite,
epidote, apatite, titanite, ecc.
Famous in the world is the Beura quarry with few but very rich vugs containing
aeschynite, sychysite, brookite, bavenite, anatase, ecc.
