 Vigezzo Valley
It is also called the painters valley because many artists were born
or worked here, painting landscapes and rural life scenes.
The valley is famous because of pegmatites that often come in surface
of this area.
MINERALSERVICE proposes here three excursions.
The first one, the longest and binding, is toward a mountain called
Pizzo Marcio (3-4 hours), searching for emeralds!!!
It's a wonderful excursion in a half-mountain landscapes and still today
is possible to find a 1 cm tall crystals of green beryl in green chlorite
matrix.
 Another interesting excursion is in Craveggia area, searching for light
blue beryl, bavenite, euxenite, etc.
Less binding is the research of micro-mount minerals as fersmite, vigezzite,
microlite and roggianite (the best specimens in the world of these rare
species) in Orcesco area.
